Yovita Amalia is Indonesian freelance photojournalist, with interest in social and cultural issues. She started to learn photography during her junior high school years, and continued to learning more while studying communication studies in college. While studying in high school, she participate in Rets Photography and made some photography exhibition with two differentt theme “Woman” and “Light”. In college, she participate in Foto Jurnalistik Klub and made “Yogyakarta” and “Mozaik Sejarah” photography exhibition. In June to August 2017, she had internship as a photojournalist at Tempo Inti Media. After the internship, she became a regional contributor photojournalist at Tempo Inti Media based in Yogyakarta.
